Our History...

About ten years ago, a group of people involved in youth ministry got together to start doing things for youth on the diocesan level. Eventually this grew to create a part-time staff position at the diocesan level of a coordinator for youth ministry. In 2006, the diocesan youth commission (DYC) and the bishop and council of the Diocese took another step of faith and decided to make that position full-time so that the youth ministry coordinator could work more with youth ministers and churches, and enflesh the mission and vision statment the DYC had prayerfully put together. The bishop hired a full-time coordinator who started in July of 2007, and the adventure continues!
